Having grown up on a Walker Mower and attending several Walker Factory Days or Reunions, my mind was flooded with many great memories working with my father and his landscaping business in Greeley, Colorado throughout my teen years as I read "The Walker Way." "The Walker Way" is a true testament to living out the commands of Jesus to love God and love others. What a story from the humble beginning on a farm in Kansas to a worldwide company and its impact. Thanks for sharing not only your story, but also of your heart and for treating us like "family" during your Factory Days, Reunions and Hymn Sings!

Thank you for sharing your story! It brings to life foundational principles that are not overshadowed by glitzy modern movements or theories. That is not to say progressive or modern ways are bad, but must be viewed with the backdrop of your foundations, lest it all crumble. Life & Business are built on foundational building blocks, one upon another. Thank you for expressing your faith, something that many are afraid to do. "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!" Your book inspired me and I would like to use is for required reading for those that "work with me".

My son was recently hired by one of Walker’s distributors. My son gave me a copy of “The WalkerWay” to read. I throughly enjoyed the book. As a fellow believer in Christ, your testimony to the goodness of God, your business principles based on Scripture, etc are a great encouragement to me.

Recently began my endevour in lawn care...and after much research I went with a walker mower. Very happy w/ the product and the service I receive from the seller, Stephen Roy, here in North Smithfield, RI. After reading "The Walker Way", I can say that I feel more connected to the company as a consumer. Theres something to be said for knowing the background, and establishment of who you are dealing with! Great read!

How I enjoyed reading the Walker Way. Thanks Bob for that walk down memory lane. I so thoroughly enjoyed having the privilege of being the Walker family Pastor for those years in Loveland Church of the Nazarene. Always enjoyed the conversations with Max and felt I always received more than I gave in those moments. Having been a part of this wonderful family and seeing the growth and development of the succeeding generations is a true testimony of principals and truths contained in this book.

I've lived in Kansas my whole life. I will be 26 in August. I've owned my own business since I was 10 years old. Dad started me on a push mower and expanded from there. I just recently bought my first 2006-2007 Walker Mtghs. I absolutely love the machine. It picks up leaves and debris like you wouldn't believe. I can't wait to use it in the fall. Keep up the great quality work.

I realized that I knew most of the writings in book. Bob has shared his story over the years. Walker Talk has always featured Bob Walkers commentary over the years. Great read and it was like Bob was talking to me when I was reading the story. Inspirational for sure. Thank you, Walker Manufacturing for building a great mower. My life for the past 30+ has been a blessing. I strongly believe that without this mower and the support of the Walker Family, I would not be the person I am today. I enjoy being independent and owning my own business . Thank you for your support over the years.

I moved to Idaho in early 2020 and bought a beautiful place with lots of lawn on a golf course. The problem was my knees were failing and I could not walk behind my mower to mow all my grass. I was aware of all the standard ride on mowers out there and none of them really excited me as I always pick up my grass clippings and none of the mowers I had seen did a good job of picking up the grass. I was in a panic on what to do until one day I was sitting on my couch - the sun was beaming in my front window and all of the sudden I saw it mowing my next-door neighbors lawn - the answer came to me - it was a Walker. It was mowing and picking up at least an inch of leaves on the lawn at the same time without any leaves or clumps of grass left in it's wake! What a wonderful machine I look forward to mowing each and every week! Thank You Walker Mfg. for building such a great and enjoyable piece of equipment that keeps my yard looking as good as the golf course I live on!

I have had Walker mowers since I started my business in 1991 and they are the most productive, efficient and well made ride on mowers I have had . Some years ago I had the opportunity to visit the factory in Fort Collins and was received in a personal way and as a customer and business friend was greatly appreciated. Great story of family and business with great valves. Cheers from the land down under

I have been a loyal Walker mower owner since 2012. I wanted something different for my business, a better way to handle landscape maintenance and leave a better finish. I have owned many Walker mowers since then, and they have been a pivotal way to enable me to provide my customers with a premium landscape maintenance service. Walker has enabled me to always be a step ahead and a cut above my competitors. Along the way, i have made many friends in the world of walker, including many at the factory. I try to call Mr. Bob every so often, because there's never been a more genuine and caring person than him and the Walker family. You are not a number, but an extended member of a wonderful group of folks that build the best mower on earth. Why as long as i can crawl on one, I'll always mow with Walker mowers. I currently own 3. One is 22 years old and a lasting testament to the quality of these machines.

I purchased a used 1964 Walker Power Truck in 1969 that had been abused by the previous owner. With the simple but ingenious design by Max Walker the restoration was soon completed and has been a favourite vintage vehicle at every car/truck show I attend. Thank you Bob for all your help in the past. David
